TRX at Fitness Quest NW

There are some exciting changes being put into play at Fitness Quest NW. Just as changes in your training keep things fresh and your body stimulated, so it is true with our ever-progressive schedule at Fitness Quest NW.

As you have been experiencing lately, we have been “acquainting” you with the TRX suspension straps. A couple of reasons for this:

  •  It is such a fantastic training modality we wanted you all to have a taste
  • We are ready to start scheduling TRX classes into our programming
  •  We wanted you all to have a head start on the basics in case you decide to add a TRX class to your work out schedule.

The first time slot for TRX is on Tuesday mornings, 9:30-10:30.

As you have possibly experienced, suspension strap training can work for anyone, any age or fitness level. It is so easily adjustable by simply changing your body’s vector angle for more or less resistance that everyone from “Joes to Pros” can get a fantastic workout. I have trained 20 year olds and 70 year olds at the same time and both were challenged to their maximum desire! Awesome!

This class will start with the beginning TRX exercises for a great “full-body” workout. For those who are ready, (looking strong with great form), we will give progressions to keep you challenged. One of our rules with the TRX programs is that “you earn your right to progress!”

Some of you have experienced some of our hybrid KB/TRX classes and our TRX ab-labs. Those who have can agree, these are awesome and effective work outs. As our schedule of TRX classes grow, I hope you will join us and take your training and your fitness to a whole new level.

In the future, we will be offering specialized TRX seminars and programs for yoga, runners, mountain bikers, and triathlon participants, just to name a few. Just another way Fitness Quest NW stays progressive with cutting edge training and programming to help you be the best you can be.
